Russell Tyler's geometric paintings draw inspiration from anachronistic computer designs and convert outdated graphic images to heavily painted oil paintings. The bright and thick colors make the canvas seem like anembossment. Tyler's paintings can be perceived as a nostalgic homage to abstract painting such as Josef Albers' works or as a quest for understanding the role of technology in contemporary art.  

This is the first exhibition in Israel for the New York based artist.
