Born in Jerusalem in March 1954.
1975-1978 Studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and Florence. Also enrolled at the Santa Reparata Center for Graphic Arts in Florence.
1979-1982 Studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Departments of General History and History of Muslim Countries.
1982-1984 Two-year artist-in-residence fellowship at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
1987-1989 Two-year grant from the Fondation de France to work in Paris.
